ICP5100DV : FULLY AUTOMATED FAST SIMULTANEOUS INDUCTIVELY COUPLED ARGON PLASMA

(ICP) SPECTROMETER with a wavelength range of 160 – 900nm. The Spectrometer has an Echelle grating allowing the simultaneous display of all spectral lines in a single exposure and the analysis of the complete spectrum in a compact area. The Spectrometer is argon purged to allow the analysis of elements in the far UV. The detection system is a Charged Coupled Device (CCD) 1024 x1024 Pixels. (CCD Pixel Size 24 μm x 24μm) with Anti-Blooming protection. High speed acquisition of 500KHz provides a simultaneous Full-Spectrum reading and real-time single pixel sub-array monitoring allowing ultrafast

analysis. The “on–board” Solid State RF Generator operates at a frequency of 27.12MHz and has a computer controlled forward power range of 500 – 1600 Watts with real time automatic tuning with stability better than 0.1% and a ECO standby mode. The plasma ignition and generator output is fully monitored via the ICP-Win Software.

 

The sample introduction system is via a multi- channel (4 Channels) 12 roller peristaltic pump (controlled via the software). A demountable torch, cyclonic spray chamber and a concentric glass nebuliser are supplied as standard (Further options available on request). The torch view is dual i.e. Radial and Axial. ICP5100DV is fully computer controlled via user friendly ICP-Win Software. The multi– window and multi-method analysis program

enables fast simultaneous measurements. The software has a built-in library of over 60,000

spectral lines showing inter-element corrections

(IEC) and interferences. Visual Background correction points are displayed. The software allows the display of complete “Spectrograms” showing automatically and manually calibrated spectral lines.

5100-010   Argon Nebulizer Gas Humidifier for High TDS

Sample Analysis Argon Nebulizer gas humidifier is designed for

use in ICP analyses dealing with high concentrations of dissolved solids. This humidifier

utilizes Nafion© tubing that selectively permeates water vapor through its membrane, which humidifies the argon line. The water prevents salt from accumulating in the sample introduction system (nebulizer), which allows for uninterrupted analysis and maintenance free operation.

5100-080 : HydraMist Simultaneous Analysis of Hydride Forming Elements and Non Hydride Forming element – HydraMist is a sensitive, cost effective, simple-to-use spray chamber for use with the ICP5100DV that allows simultaneous operation of both conventional pneumatic nebulization and cold-vapour/hydride generation. Cold vapour

generation can provide more than 10 fold improvement in sensitivity on ICP for cold vapour forming elements such As, Sb, Se,Tl and Hg. The HydraMist allows the analysis of BOTH Hydride Forming Elements and Non Hydride Forming Elements simultaneously. System can be interfaced to Auto-Sampler 5100-008 at NO additional costs.

5100-060   Continuous Flow Dedicated Hydride System with integrated micro-persitaltic pump, 4-Channel System. Specifically designed for ICP5000DV ICP-OES system. The hydride System benefits from a Low-Volume Quartz Gas Liquid Separator. The hydride gasses are separated from liquid waste then transported to the ICP5000 sample Introduction System and directly introduced to the plasma. The system is controlled via ICPHYD-WIN (Pump Network Software) which is included.

The system is designed for the Ultra-Trace Analysis of Mercury (Hg), Arsenic (As), Selenium (Se), Antimony (Sb), Bismuth (Bi), Tellurium (Te) and Tin (Sn).
