Heated Oil Centrifuge C220

These centrifuges are commonly used to measure: water and sediment in crude oil, fuel oil and middle distillate fuel; the precipitation number of lubricating oils and insoluble in used lubricating oils.

Oil Heated Type S laboratory centrifuge tests crude oil or refined petroleum products. The centrifuge is designed for separating basic sediment and water content indoors. Optimal for laboratory settings or refineries, the unit works best when installed on bench top. The fully insulated centrifuge prevents heat loss and allows for accurate temperature control. Its outer case is finished with a solvent-resistant powder coating, so the centrifuge remains protected. A variable speed motor with LCD display ideally operates at speeds of up to 2000 rpm. An integrated countdown timer, which shuts down the motor when a test is complete, is designed to reduce variation in testing for more accurate results. The Type S features a latching emergency stop button and automatic locking lid (motor will not operate when lid is open; lid will not open while motor is running) to protect the centrifuge and minimize incomplete results.
