Alat Laboratorium- Petroleum Engineering-Digital Helium Porosimeter

A Digital Helium Porosimeter is a specialized laboratory instrument used to measure the effective porosity, pore volume, and grain (skeletal) density of porous solid materials

Product Introduction
The TR-HP-1 Digital Helium Porosimeter is a new-generation product developed by our company and has the following features:

  1. It provides a high test pressure and a wide adjustable pressure range, with a maximum pressure of 1.3 MPa.
  2. The instrument testing procedure complies with SY/T 5336-2012.
  3. It can simultaneously measure the pore volume, skeletal volume, and porosity of a core sample.
  4. The entire process, including instrument inspection, testing, data processing, and report printing, is controlled by a computer.

Operating Principle
The TR-HP-1 Digital Helium Porosimeter is designed based on Boyle’s law. The pressure sensor measures the gas inlet pressure and equilibrium pressure in the system and transmits the values to the display and computer. Four steel disks of known volume are used to determine the calibration values of the process tubing and the fixed-volume chamber. The computer processes the acquired data to calculate the skeletal volume and pore volume of the core sample and then automatically displays and prints the test report.
Porosity (%) = (bulk volume − grain volume) / bulk volume.
Bulk volume = 3.1415926  (core diameter / 2)2  core length.
