Description

How Calorimeter Works?
The sample to be analyzed is placed in the decomposition vessel resistant to high pressure. The vessel is placed in the analysis chamber filled with water, which is kept at a constant temperature without being affected by the external environment. The sample in the vessel is ignited by high pressure oxygen (30 bar) and electrodes. With the burning of the combustible sample, the temperature of the vessel increases and it starts to heat the water in the analysis chamber. By measuring the change in water temperature, the calorific value of the sample is calculated.
