Description

Digital BOD Tester is a new instrument that uses the principle of air pressure difference method to measure biochemical oxygen demand. It can be widely used in environmental monitoring, petrochemical, health, teaching and scientific research and other departments to monitor water quality. This series of products follow the basic principle of water quality five-day biochemical oxygen demand. The five-day culture method is also called standard dilution method or dilution inoculation method. The principle is: after dilution, the water sample is cultured at 20 ℃± 1 ℃ for 5 days, and the dissolved oxygen content in the water sample before and after the culture is calculated. The difference between the two is BOD. Biochemical oxygen demand or biochemical oxygen consumption (generally referred to as the five-day chemical oxygen demand) is a comprehensive indicator of the content of aerobic pollutants such as organics in water. This indicates the total amount of dissolved oxygen consumed in the water when the organics in the water are oxidized and decomposed due to biochemical action to make them inorganic or gaseous. The higher the value, the more organic pollutants in the water, and the more serious the pollution.
